“These tears fall heavy, honest gold-
each one a prayer too deep for sound.
Grief has carved a sacred place
where holy ground is found.
Though shadows press and silence stays,
and beauty feels too far to see,
these drops will bloom in coming days-
a garden born from agony.
So let them fall, don’t turn away,
for pain does not mean you’re alone.
Within the weeping, seeds are laid-
and hope has made them home.”
-Ariel Wachtel
This piece was created in the midst of deep grief and heartache, mourning in moments unseen but showing up in life anyway. I realized 3 years into this walk that God had gifted me such empathy through the heartache of grief. He had transformed my tears into a beautiful purpose. He didn't cause the pain, but He took it and made something bloom.
